Many people are suffering because of this disaster. There are some hot spot and it's hard sport them so living there isn't a good idea.
Outside Fukushima, some area in Japan (Chiba. Ibaraki, Iwate and so on have some contaminated area.
I understand what you want to say but this is no tthe reallity, even you think you can say this safelfy. It isn't. It's more than a tourism travel.
Contaminated dust, still fly around, and it is in the air, water and food. Taking a fight is safer and as well riskier. Radiation that enter the lungs, the body are not safer that a flight, as beeing regularly exposed to it isn't safe at all. Uranium and plutonium have been released into the atmosphere (and it still contaminate the place)but not in a plane (this is what propaganda says . If Italy get a nuclear disaster, you will see what it means to live in the fear, stress of a nuclear disaster. Risk are very very very low falling sick from it. But living there isn't the paradise. It takes an average of 10 years to develop a disease linked to a nuclear accident or less, and it's hard to prove it. But, it happened, and nobody talk about it in Japan as it is taboo and media are prohibited to talk about it...The past will always remind in the memories as nuclear waster has an incredible live span.
Enjoy, be balance and take care :)
